As a postgraduate course in law, Chinese Environmental Law is a comprehensive and interdisciplinary course. China's environmental law is an emerging and unique legal field requiring simple scientific knowledge. The main teaching content includes the causes of China's environmental problems and the changes in China's environmental law in recent years. Environmental law covers a wide range of fields (including China's pollution control law, China's energy laws and policies, China's climate change rule of law, and China's natural resource management law and biodiversity conservation). The basic principles of environmental law are multidisciplinary; China's environmental systems are rich and novel, including environmental planning, environmental impact assessment, environmental administrative licensing, emissions trading, information disclosure, public participation, etc. It also covers current global hot topics such as Chinese ecosystem law, climate litigation, corporate ESG compliance, and a small amount of international environmental law-related content.
